Denis-Plants is a family-run company specialized in the hardening of plants from tissue culture. The company provides a wide range of indoor plants, perennials and Hellebores, including exclusive cultivars.
Denis-Plants produces hardened young plants derived from in-vitro multiplication. We raise our own varieties as well as varieties on assignment, which may be patent protected or not. The starting plant material first passes through our own R&D laboratory. After multiplication in our affiliate facility in Vietnam and Botswana, the hardening process takes place in our greenhouses. All processes are treated with utmost confidentiality.

Our own laboratory
In 2012 Denis-Plants constructed a new, state-of-the-art R&D laboratory adjacent to the headquarters in Lochristi.
Our laboratory focuses on:
- Initialization of start material
- Optimization of in-vitro protocols of new and existing varieties
- Support of our multiplication and cloning divisions
The multiplication of in-vitro tissue is is done in our affiliate facility in Vietnam and Botswana, under complete and exclusive supervision of Denis-Plants.
Our own hardening under 30,000 m² greenhouses
The hardening takes place in our own greenhouse complex covering 30,000 m² and eight divisions, allowing for individual climate regulation. In 2021, an entirely new fog greenhouse was also built for the first acclimatisation of tissue plants.
